FLASH FLOOD KILLS 44 IN NEW YORK

Hurricane Ida took the life of almost 44 people along with the aftermath of flash flood in New York just in a matter of a night.

Subways were reported to be flooded as even the streets were witnessed drowned in water. This sudden event that was completely unexpected had the residents in quite a state of shock as a lot of them blamed it on the climate change. Some older resident claimed to have not seen a rain of such magnitude in the last half a decade.

Families with comparatively low-income are said to have suffered the most because of the low availability of the resources that were needed to survive such harsh conditions. All the major road connectivity was drowned, flooded and hence, blocked while rescue missions mission to save hundreds of citizens were carried on. Various cities also witnessed power shortage.

However, President Joe Biden had assured the citizens of maximum assistance in these trying times.
